RIPON, Wis. - Ripon's men's tennis team closed out their 2018 regular season with a pair of losses on Sunday, falling to Lawrence University and St. Norbert College by identical 9-0 scores.
The Red Hawks began the day with a loss to Lawrence, losing all six singles matches and falling in all three doubles matches by a combined score of 24-1.
Adrian Granados put up the toughest fight, losing his number four singles match by a score of 6-7, 2-6.
In the day's second match, Ripon lost the top four singles matches, with the other two matches in singles play being decided by default. In doubles play, Ripon was outscored 16-3 in the top two flights, with the third being decided by default.
Ripon will now get ready for the MWC doubles and singles tournaments, beginning Saturday and continuing into Sunday at the Nielsen Tennis Center in Madison, Wis.
