RIPON, Wis. - After splitting two matches on Friday's first day of the Ripon College Invitational, the Red Hawks were back on the court Saturday. They began the day with their third consecutive five-set match, losing to Central College 11-25, 25-20, 15-25, 25-20, 8-15. They followed that up with a three-set loss to Wisconsin Lutheran (17-25, 19-25, 17-25).
In their first match of the day, Ripon was led by
Inesha Wiseman's 12 kills and .324 hitting percentage.
Emily Allard added 11 kills and a hitting percentage of .128, to go along with 12 digs and a team-high two service aces.
Olivia Heck registered team-highs of 35 assists and 17 digs, while
Stacie Klika added 16 digs.
In Ripon's second match of the day, Allard led the way with 12 kills, in addition to her eight digs.
Brooke Bauer was second on the team with seven kills and two blocks, while Wiseman recorded six kills. Heck again led the team with 30 assists, while Klika produced a match-best 18 digs, en route to being named to the Ripon College Invitational All-Tournament Team for the second consecutive season.
Ripon will try to get back on the winning track next weekend when they'll compete in Aurora University's Tournament in Aurora, Ill. The Red Hawks will play UW-Oshkosh on Friday at 5 p.m. in a match that can be seen live at https://athletics.aurora.edu/sports/2014/12/4/GameViewer.aspx?id=256.
