RIPON, Wis. - Ripon's volleyball team went on the road for the first time this season Tuesday night, resulting in a three-set loss at Milwaukee School of Engineering. MSOE won the first set 25-19, before taking the next two 29-27 and 25-21, respectively.
Ripon (2-2) was led by
Emily Allard's 10 kills and three service aces, in addition to collecting seven digs.
Olivia Heck led the Red Hawks in assists (20), while
Micaela Encarnacion recorded a team-high 11 digs.
Kaylie Marks added a team-best four blocks, including one solo.
MSOE (3-2) was led by Italia Fields' nine kills, while Allie Laurent posted 17 assists. Hannah Pekarek led the Raiders with 21 digs, while Elsey Kohlmann posted seven block assists.
The Red Hawks will try to get back on the winning track this weekend when they'll take part in the ACM Tournament, hosted by Lawrence University in Appleton, Wis. Ripon will battle Luther and Carleton Friday at 2 and 4 p.m., respectively.
