RIPON, Wis. - Ripon's men's swim team lost both ends of Saturday's double dual, falling to North Central (Ill.) 88-87 and to Beloit 131-65. The Red Hawks finished the day with three first-place individual finishes, while also winning one relay.
Two of Ripon's first-place finishes came from
Ben Chambers, who won the 50 freestyle (23.39) and 100 freestyle (50.90).
Joseph Maddux also placed first for the Red Hawks in the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:00.83. Maddux and Chambers also teamed up with
Aliber Garcia and
Ethan Ripp to win the 400 freestyle relay with a time of 3:34.90.
Ripon will be in action again next weekend when they'll take part in the Lawrence Invitational on Saturday in Appleton, Wis. at 11 a.m.
