RIPON, Wis. - Ripon's women's swim team won both ends of Saturday's double dual, defeating North Central (Ill.) 136-38 and Beloit 153-38. The Red Hawks finished the day with six first-place individual finishes, while also winning two relays.
Lily Lustig and
Cierra Boutelle led the team with two first-place finishes apiece. Lustig won the 500 freestyle (5:46.26) and 1000 freestyle (12:00.99), while Boutelle took first in the 50 freestyle (26.85) and 100 freestyle (58.96).
Abby Anderson also took home a first-place finish in the 200 freestyle (2:13.83), while
Des'tanee Evans won the one-meter diving competition (143.10). In relay competition, Ripon's 400 Medley Relay team of
Erin Barrie,
Laryssa Vaclavik,
McKenna Bartelme, and
Dannielle Mekkes finished first with a time of 4:44.64. Lustig, Anderson, Boutelle, and
Amanda Hoppe also teamed up to win the 400 freestyle relay with a time of 4:10.00.
Ripon will be in action again next weekend when they'll take part in the Lawrence Invitational on Saturday in Appleton, Wis. at 11 a.m.
