OSHKOSH, Wis. - Ripon's women's swim team got in one final tuneup on Saturday before ending the season at the Midwest Conference Championships in a couple weeks. The Red Hawks competed in the UW-Oshkosh dual, losing to the Titans by a score of 138-62.

Laryssa Vaclavik highlighted Ripon's day, winning the 1000 freestyle with a time of 11:56.79, while also placing third in the 500 freestyle (5:53.10). McKenna Bartelme added a second-place finish in the 100 backstroke (1:07.84), while Abby Anderson was second in the 500 freestyle (5:51.73).

Ripon will close their 2018-19 season on February 15-17 when they'll take part in the annual MWC Championships, hosted by Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa.
