In the day's second game, Ripon struck first with a run in the top of the second on an RBI doubles off the bat of
Teara Morgenroth, scoring
Claire Luebke from second base. Lawrence would tie things up with a run in the bottom of that frame, before adding five more runs in the third to take the lead. They would add three more in the fifth to end the game in five innings.
