RIPON, Wis. - Ripon's women's tennis team suffered its first loss of the season Thursday afternoon, falling to UW-Oshkosh by a score of 9-0.

The Red Hawks (1-1) lost all three doubles matches by a combined score of 24-4, while also losing all six singles matches. Ripon was most competitive at number one singles, where Hannah Ryback lost 6-0, 6-2.

Ripon will try to rebound this weekend when they'll open conference play Sunday at Cornell and Grinnell. Those matches will begin at 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., respectively.
