RIPON, Wis. -Â Ripon's women's swim team lost a dual meet to UW-Oshkosh Saturday by a score of 137-64 in what was the final tune-up before the annual Midwest Conference Championships, which will begin on February 14.
The Red Hawks' only first-place finish came in the 100 freestyle where
Cierra Boutelle won with a time of 58.35, while adding a second-place finish in the 50 freestyle (26.75).
Lily Lustig added a second-place finish in the 500 freestyle (5:45.17). Ripon's other second-place finish came from
Laryssa Vaclavik, who swam the 1000 freestyle in 11:58.28, which was just three seconds off the pace of the winning time.
Ripon will conclude their season in two weeks at the MWC Championships. The three-day event will conclude on February 16 in Grinnell, Iowa.
