RIPON, Wis. - Illinois College defeated Ripon's volleyball team in four sets Saturday afternoon. The Lady Blues took the first two sets by identical 25-18 scores, before Ripon bounced back with a 25-17 victory in set three. IC would close out the game in the fourth set, winning that frame 25-19.
Illinois College (6-9, 2-1 MWC) recorded 51 kills in the game, to go along with a hitting percentage of .219. Ripon (8-12, 0-2 MWC) registered 48 kills and a hitting percentage of .138.
Inesha Wiseman led the charge for Ripon with a match-high 17 kills and a hitting percentage of .297.
MaKenna Harmsen added 12 kills, while
Arynn Mathieu finished with 11.
Riley Nielsen led all players with 43 assists, while
Bella Kasuboski led the Red Hawks with 21 digs.
Illinois College was led by Reagan Gifford's 11 kills, while Faith Stallard and Brenna Dameris each recorded 10. Morgan Burr led the team with 42 assists, while Jen Humbolt added 30 digs.
