MONMOUTH, Ill. - Monmouth defeated Ripon's volleyball team in three sets Saturday afternoon, winning the first 25-17, before winning the next two by identical 25-15 scores. Ripon finished the match with 32 kills, while Monmouth recorded 41 kills and a team hitting percentage of .282.
Ripon was led by
Arynn Mathieu and
Lydia Ellis, whom each posted eight kills, while
MaKenna Harmsen recorded seven kills.
Riley Nielsen contributed with 18 assists, while
Micaela Encarnacion led the team with 14 digs.Â
Monmouth was led by Amanda Dybal's 14 kills, while Megan Gilstrap produced 11 kills and a .733 hitting percentage. Karlie Drish led all players with 33 assists, in addition to 14 digs, while Kaylee Woodard led the Fighting Scots with 17 digs.
