INDIVIDUAL RESULTS
BELOIT, Wis. - Ripon's men's swim team defeated both Knox and host school Beloit College in convincing fashion at a double dual on Saturday. The Red Hawks defeated Knox 173-17, while defeating Beloit by a score of 138-75.
Ripon won 11 events on the day, including one relay event.
Brigham Freeman was victorious in the 200 freestyle (1:54.39) and 500 freestyle (5:21.67), while
Ben Chambers,
Dominic Yoder,
Zach Olstinske, and
Ben Rahlf also each won two events. Chambers won both the 100 breaststroke (1:03.37) and 50 breaststroke (28.50), while Yoder was victorious in the 200 freestyle (1:54.39) and 100 freestyle (49.78). Olstinske finished first in both the 100 backstroke (59.87) and 50 butterfly (26.04), while Rahlf won both the 100 butterfly (55.83) and 200 IM (2:13.37). Yoder and Rahlf also teamed up with
Ethan Brannen and
Joe Maddux to win the 400 medley relay with a time of 3:49.36.
The Red Hawks will be in action again next weekend when they'll compete in the annual Gene Davis Invite, hosted by Lawrence University in Appleton, Wis. That meet will begin at 1 p.m.
