INDIVIDUAL RESULTS
BELOIT, Wis. - Ripon's women's swim team defeated both Knox and host school Beloit College at a double dual on Saturday. The Red Hawks defeated Knox 170-55, while defeating Beloit by a score of 134-103.
Ripon won nine events on the day, including one relay event.
Sophie Czerwonka led the Red Hawks with three individual event wins, finishing first in the 50 breaststroke (35.44), 100 breaststroke (1:15.51), and 200 IM (2:29.62).
Lily Lustig added two event victories, winning the 200 freestyle (2:10.39) and 500 freestyle (5:57.81). Also earning wins for the Red Hawks were
Lali Marquez in the 100 butterfly (1:10.81),
Sky Domingo in the 100 freestyle (57.51),
Madeline Witt in the 100 backstroke (1:08.10). Czerwonka, Domingo, Lustig, and Witt also teamed up to win the 400 medley relay with a time of 4:27.29.
The Red Hawks will be in action again next weekend when they'll compete in the annual Gene Davis Invite, hosted by Lawrence University in Appleton, Wis. That meet will begin at 1 p.m.
