Men's Swim Team Falls To Lawrence In Dual Meet

Ripon's men's swim team lost a dual meet to Lawrence University Saturday afternoon by a score of 167-95. The Red Hawks saw five first-place finishes on the day, including one relay victory.

Ripon's day was highlighted by a pair of event wins by Ben Chambers, who took first place in the 50 freestyle (22.49) and 100 breaststroke (1:02.92). Chambers also swam a leg on Ripon's first-place 200 Freestyle Relay, along with Aliber Garcia, Brigham Freeman, and Ethan Brannen, which swam a time of 1:33.52. Freeman also took first in the 1650 Freestyle (18:55.49), while Joe Maddux did the same in the 400 IM with a time of 4:48.07.

The Red Hawks will bring their shortened 2021 season to an end on March 27 when they'll host Lake Forest College in a dual meet at 11 a.m. That meet can be seen live at https://portal.stretchinternet.com/ripon/.
