Freshman running back
Connor Ramage had a debut for the ages in Saturday's 46-38 season-opening win for the Red Hawks. Tuesday, Ramage was rewarded for his efforts, as he was named Midwest Conference Offensive Performer of the Week, as released by the conference office.
Playing the first game of his college career, Ramage rumbled for 226 yards and six touchdowns, which ties a single game school record and is just two shy of the conference record. His yardage output ranks 10th in program history for a single game. Ramage, who averaged 6.3 yards per carry in the victory, also caught one pass for 21 yards.
A native of Green Bay, Wis., Ramage attended Ashwaubenon High School. He is majoring in Exercise Science at Ripon College, with an emphasis in Athletic Training.
