Hannah Ryback helped Ripon's women's tennis team begin the season with a 2-0 record last week, going 4-0 in singles and doubles play combined, while playing at the top flight in each. Wednesday, Ryback was rewarded for her efforts, as she was named Midwest Conference Women's Tennis Performer of the Week, as released by the conference office.
In Ripon's season-opener against Lakeland, Ryback won her number one singles match 6-1, 6-1 and her doubles match (with partner
Brianna Bembenek) 8-4. She followed that up with a 6-1, 6-1 singles victory against Marian, while also defeating the Sabres in doubles play (with Bembenek) by a score of 8-1.
Ryback and her teammates will be in action again on Thursday when they'll travel to MSOE for a 4 p.m. match in Milwaukee.
