RIPON, Wis. - Calvin University defeated Ripon's men's tennis team by a score of 8-1 Friday night. The Red Hawks lone team point came in singles play, while they were outscored 24-6 in doubles competition.

Ty Rondestvedt scored Ripon's only point, as he won his number four singles match against Joseph Hong by a score of 7-5, 4-6, 10-6.

Ripon will now have a couple week hiatus before taking the court again on March 6 against Lakeland University. That match will begin at 9:30 a.m. at The Field House inside Willmore Center in Ripon.
