Ripon Falls To UW-Oshkosh In Final Tune-Up Before MWC Championships

OSHKOSH, Wis. -
In what was their final meet before the Midwest Conference Championships later this month, Ripon's women's swim team lost a dual meet at UW-Oshkosh by a score of 139-103.

The Red Hawks recorded three first-place finishes on the day, including one relay. In the 200 freestyle, Sky Domingo was victorious with a time of 2:04.71. Madeline Witt was Ripon's other individual event winner, taking first-place in the 100 freestyle with a time of 1:01.43. The Red Hawks also placed first in the 400 medley relay, which saw Witt team up with Lauren Barr, Sophie Czerwonka, and Lali Marquez to swim a time of 4:28.18.

Ripon will now take next weekend off from competition, before jumping back into the pool for the first day of the three-day MWC Championships on February 18.
