LAKE BLUFF, Ill. - In what was their final match of the 2022 regular season, Ripon's men's tennis team fell to Lake Forest by a score of 9-0. The Red Hawks lost all six singles matches in straight sets, while also losing the three doubles matches by a combined score of 24-4.

In doubles play, Ripon's number three team of Preston Wurtz and Eugene Pliska put up the biggest fight, before losing 8-2. In singles play, Wurtz's number three match was the most competitive, as he ultimately lost 2-6, 3-6.

Ripon (8-7, 4-2 MWC) will now prepare for Friday's Midwest Conference team tournament against this same Lake Forest squad. That match will begin at Noon, with the winner playing the winner of the other semifinal later that afternoon.
