DE PERE, Wis. – The Ripon College women's swimming and diving team took on St. Norbert Saturday afternoon in a dual meet.
St. Norbert won the meet 151-59.
Sky Domingo turned in a solid performance in the 1,000 freestyle, placing second. She touched the wall in 11:31.06.
Lauren Bahr earned a third-place effort in the 50 freestyle after posting a mark of 27.09.
Sophie Czerwonka won the bronze in the 200 IM. She registered a time of 2:23.97, missing a second-place finish by less than six-tenths of a second. Czerwonka garnered a third-place effort in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:04.31.
Natalie Weidner picked up a second-place finish in the 100 freestyle. She wrapped up the event in 58.06.
The 200 freestyle relay team of
Natalie Weidner, Czerwonka,
Anna Bose and Domingo touched the wall in 1:48.27. The mark was good enough for second place.
The Red Hawks were second through fifth in the 1-meter diving event.
Kristy Cerna-Rivera was second with a score of 148.40 while Alyssa Longstreet's effort of 146.15 was good enough for third place.
The Red Hawks return to action Saturday, Jan. 28 when they compete at the Wisconsin Private College Championships in Kenosha, Wis.
