RIPON, Wisconsin – The Ripon College men's and women's swimming and diving programs were picked fifth in their respective preseason Midwest Conference coaches polls as announced by the league on Wednesday.
 
The projected top-five teams on each side were picked in the same order, as the Grinnell women won the MWC title for the second consecutive season in 2023 while the Grinnell men claimed first for the seventh-straight event.
 
Both Ripon programs are looking to build off fifth-place finishes at the 2023 Midwest Conference Championships. Head coach Jon Wilson, in his second season leading both programs, brings back six returners on the men's side and 12 on the women's side. The Ripon women bring in three newcomers, while one freshman joins the fold for the men's program.

Ripon opens its season in just 10 days, hosting Loras and MSOE at Kohler Pool. The meet begins at 1 p.m.
