RIPON, Wisconsin – After three wins in the final four games of the season, three members of the Ripon football program were represented on the All-Midwest Conference Second Team as Kyle Olson, Alex Mosqueda and Jake Davies received postseason honors from the league on Tuesday morning.
 
Olson, a senior from Binghamton, New York, anchored Ripon's offensive line this season in both the running game and passing game. Though he missed four contests due to injury, Olson helped Ripon rush for 1,324 yards and 14 touchdowns. He also helped launch a passing attack that threw for 1,710 yards and 17 scores.
 
Mosqueda, a junior from Yuma, Arizona, had a career year and was the favorite target for quarterback Jack Berens in 2023. He hauled in 50 catches for 893 yards and 9 touchdowns – all team-highs. Mosqueda had 100+ receiving yards four times and he had four multi-touchdown outings. The junior had the fifth-most receiving yards in the Midwest Conference this season.
 
Davies, a junior from Brandon, Wisconsin, was one of the standouts on the Ripon defense all season long. Davies had 41 total tackles, 5 tackles-for-loss and a pair of interceptions. He was also the primary kick returner for the Red Hawks on special teams, collecting 533 yards on 24 returns (22.2 average).
 
Monmouth College, after earning a share of the Midwest Conference title for the second consecutive season, had a league-high 16 honorees, including the Offensive Line MVP and Defensive Line MVP. Illinois College, after winning a share of its first-ever MWC title and earning a berth to the NCAA Tournament this weekend by virtue of the head-to-head tiebreaker with Monmouth, had 13 selections, including the Offensive Skill MVP, Defensive Skill MVP, Elite 20 Award Recipient and the Coach of the Year. Lake Forest College also had 13 selections.
