BELOIT, Wisconsin – The Ripon swim and dive programs competed in their second Midwest Conference duals of the season, collecting a number of individual wins against Beloit inside the Robert G. Nicholls Natatorium.
On the men's side,
Ben Chambers was the first Red Hawk winner, leading the 50 free field with a time of 22.86. In addition to the 50 free, he also took first in the 100 breast with a 1:06.11 showing.
Cooper Herr kept the momentum going for the Red Hawks, winning the 200 IM (2:08.33) for a personal best. Herr also conquered the 100 free field in 49.03.
On the women's side,
Sky Domingo won the 1000 free in 12:04.79, nearly a full minute ahead of the second-place finisher.
Sophie Czerwonka won an event for the third consecutive meet, defeating the 200 free field in 2:08.92.
Lauren Bahr was the third individual Red Hawk winner, taking first in the 100 back (1:06.81).
Both Domingo and Czerwonka were multi-event winners. Domingo also won the 500 free, doing so in 5:43.07, while Czerwonka paced the 100 breast field in 1:13.52.
The Ripon women found relay success as well, as the 200 free relay team beat a pair of Beloit foursomes in 1:58.99 and the 200 medley relay foursome took first in 2:01.86.
The women were defeated 121-113, while the men fell 70-63.
