RIPON, Wis. – The Ripon College men's tennis team knocked off Milwaukee Area Technical College 9-0 Sunday morning.
The Red Hawks are now 1-7 on the season.
CJ Counts and
Caleb Sippel posted an 8-1 victory at the No. 1 doubles spot. The tandem of
Ty Rondestvedt and
Austin Stevens accounted for an 8-1 win at the No. 2 slot.
Casey Bryant and
Kyle Pelzek won by default at the No. 3 position.
In singles action, Sippel posted a 6-2, 6-3 victory at the top spot. Counts was dominant as well, notching a 6-3, 6-1 win at the No. 2 singles position.
Stevens garnered a 6-0, 6-3 win at the No. 3 spot while Rondestvedt blanked his opponent, 6-0, 6-0. Bryant also had a shutout at the No. 5 position, 6-0, 6-0.
Jack Ives won by default at the No. 6 position.
