OSHKOSH, Wis. – The Ripon College men's tennis team cruised to a 9-0 victory over Marian Friday evening.
The Red Hawks are now 3-8 on the season.

Steve Burns' team jumped out to a convincing 3-0 lead with three consecutive shutouts in doubles play. Top-seeded
Drew Jorgensen and
Caleb Sippel played took down their foes 8-0 while second-seeded
CJ Counts and
Ty Rondestvedt posted an 8-0 victory.
Jack Ives and
Austin Stevens accounted for an 8-0 win at the No. 3 spot.
Jorgensen claimed a 6-1, 6-0 win at the No. 1 singles position. Sippel took down his foe by a 6-0, 6-0 count at the No. 2 slot. Stevens garnered a 6-0, 6-0 victory at the No. 4 spot.
Rondestvedt tallied a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 5 while
Casey Bryant had no trouble with his opponent by a 6-1, 6-0 win.
Counts won the first set 6-0 at the No. 3 singles position before winning by retirement.
The Red Hawks have two weeks to prepare for the MWC opener when they square off against Monmouth and Illinois College on Saturday, Apr. 8.
