Three Red Hawks Named to All-Midwest Conference Team

RIPON, WisconsinClay Ritschard, Alex Mosqueda and Tony Damp of the Ripon football program have been named All-Midwest Conference performers as announced by the league on Friday morning.

Ritschard was honored as a first-team linebacker, while Mosqueda (wide receiver) and Damp (offensive line) were both second-team honorees. This is the first career postseason honor for Ritschard and Damp, and the second consecutive second-team selection for Mosqueda.

In his final season as a Red Hawk, Ritschard put together one of the finest seasons any Ripon defender has ever had. The Argyle, Wisconsin native led the Midwest Conference with 108 total tackles, good for 13th in all of Division III. He was also 13th in the country with 10.8 tackles per game. A two-time team captain, Ritschard is now tied for fifth in program history in single-season tackles. His 276 career tackles are also fifth-most in school history. Additionally, he racked up 4.5 tackles-for-loss, one sack and a fumble recovery in 2024. Ritschard had double-digit tackle totals in seven of Ripon's 10 games this season.

Mosqueda had another terrific season leading the Ripon receiving corps. The Yuma, Arizona native led the Red Hawks in catches (40), receiving yards (643), receiving yards per game (64.3) and touchdowns (5). A 2024 team captain, Mosqueda was seventh in the Midwest Conference in receiving yards and receiving yards per game, eighth in yards per catch (16.1) and ninth in touchdowns.

Damp has been a consistent starter on Ripon's offensive line for each of the last three seasons, and was a team captain in 2024. The senior from Oshkosh, Wisconsin helped Ripon rush for 1,322 yards and 18 touchdowns while throwing for 1,374 yards and 10 scores.
