RIPON, Wisconsin – With 10 days until opening day, the Ripon baseball program has been selected to finish second in the Midwest Conference race this season as the MWC Preseason Coaches Poll was released on Wednesday morning.
Beloit, after winning both the regular season and tournament titles, has been selected to win the league once again. The Midwest Conference has not had a repeat champion in baseball since Ripon repeated in 2010 and 2011.

Ripon brings back five Midwest Conference performers from last season's team that was one win away from the MWC tournament title and a berth in the NCAA Tournament: MWC Newcomer of the Year
Kyler Hickman, fellow first-team All-MWC choice
Brock Warren and second-team selections
Brock Turkington,
Nick Tenny and
Mitchell Lukasik. Additionally, after not playing in 2023,
Nick Terrell returns to the fold for Ripon; the senior was an All-Midwest Conference pick in both 2021 and 2022.
Ripon begins its season on Saturday (February 24) as the Red Hawks take on Hope at 11 a.m. CT and Benedictine, a team receiving votes in the D3baseball.com/NCBWA preseason poll, at 2:30 p.m. CT. from Westfield, Indiana.
