APPLETON, Wisconsin – The Ripon men's tennis program kickstarted the 2024 spring campaign on Saturday as the Red Hawks fell to UW-La Crosse 9-0 at the Fox Cities Racquet Club.
Ripon (0-3) competed hard in doubles against UW-La Crosse (4-2).
Ty Rondestvedt and
Caleb Sippel won three games on court one, while
Jaden Francis and
Austin Stevens won two games on the second court.
The Eagles controlled singles from the start. Francis was the lone Red Hawk to win a game in each set, while Stevens,
Corey Mooney, Sippel and Rondestvedt each won a game as well.
NEXT UP: Ripon has a quick turnaround, traveling to Mequon for a match against Concordia University Wisconsin on Sunday (February 4) at 9:30 a.m.
