VIRGINIA BEACH, Virginia – Dameco Walker of the Ripon men's track and field program capped off a wildly successful 2023-24 indoor track and field season for the Red Hawks on Saturday at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships inside the Virginia Beach Sports Center.
For the second consecutive day, Walker was named an All-American – this time in the triple jump. He cements his place in program history as the only athlete, male or female, to be named an All-American in the triple jump. His mark of 14.84m netted him a fourth-place finish – tied for his best-ever performance at the national event. The newly minted USTFCCCA All-Region selection competed at indoor nationals in the triple jump for the second consecutive season and carried over momentum from his record-breaking, 15-meter triple jump last weekend at the NCAA Final Qualifier.
