MADISON, Wisconsin – The Ripon men's tennis program completed its 2023-24 season on Sunday, winning five consolation titles at the Midwest Conference Individual Tennis Tournament at the Nielsen Tennis Center.
At one singles,
Caleb Sippel completed his campaign with an impressive 8-1 win over Jeff Wernsing of Illinois College, while
Ty Rondestvedt was an 8-6 winner on the third line over Wernsing's teammate Grayson Dupre. For Ripon's third consolation singles title,
Jaden Francis dispatched of Lawrence's Cole Witucki, 8-4, on court four.
In doubles,
Corey Mooney and
Kyle Pelzek teamed up for an 8-5 win over their IC counterparts on court three, while Sippel and
Austin Stevens claimed an 8-5 victory over their Lawrence opponents on the top line.
