RIPON, Wisconsin – Dameco Walker of the Ripon men's track and field program has been named an All-Region performer in the long jump and triple jump by the USTFCCCA as announced by the organization on Friday.
 
This is the third consecutive long jump all-region honor for Walker and his second-straight triple jump all-region award. In total, these are the senior's fourth and fifth outdoor all-region honors.
 
At last weekend's Midwest Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships, Walker won both the long jump (7.59m) and triple jump (14.59m), while his long jump is currently the second-best in all of Division III this season. In all likelihood, the senior has secured his fourth and fifth appearances at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships and will finish his career next weekend in South Carolina looking to add onto his four All-American honors in a Ripon uniform.
 
Walker holds the outdoor school records in both the long jump (25'1.75) and triple jump (48'10.75).
 
The top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top-3 relay teams.
 
Walker will likely end his Ripon career at the 2024 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, next weekend (May 23-25). Official selections will be announced later today.
