RIPON, Wisconsin – After a third consecutive top-three Midwest Conference finish, the Ripon women's cross country was selected to finish third in the 2024 Midwest Conference standings as announced in the MWC Preseason Coaches Poll on Monday afternoon.
 
2023 MWC champion Grinnell was picked to finish first once again, while last season's runner-up – Lawrence – also nabbed a pair of first-place votes. The top four schools from the 2023 Midwest Conference Championship were selected to finish in the same order in 2024: Grinnell, Lawrence, Ripon and Cornell.

Last season, Ripon took third at the Midwest Conference Championships and placed four runners in the top-20 of the conference meet for All-MWC status. Three of those four runners return in 2024: Alison DeNamur, Jenny Cortes and Gabby Allard.
 
Ripon opens the 2024 season in Green Bay at the Tom Barry Invitational on Saturday, August 31 at 10 a.m.
