OSHKOSH, Wis. -- Sophomore Joley Berger (Dunbar, Wis., Pembine HS) has been named the Midwest Conference (MWC) Performer of the Week for women's cross country, her third such award and the fourth for Ripon's program this season. 

The honor comes after Berger's top 20 finish at the Augustana Interregional Invitational Gold race, an event featuring 12 nationally ranked women's programs and over 350 runners. Her time of 22:16.7 is the second fastest of any MWC runner this season, only behind her previous program record setting performance this season. Berger and the Red Hawks will look to continue the momentum heading into the MWC Championship race held on Nov 1.
