RIPON, Wis. – Ripon volleyball's sophomore Makenna Harren (Rosemount, Minn., Rosemount HS) has been named a Second-Team All-Midwest Conference selection, as announced by the league on Thursday afternoon.
Harren was one of the top offensive players in the conference throughout the 2025 season. The sophomore outside hitter appeared in all 28 matches and played 95 sets, finishing third in the Midwest Conference in kills per set (3.19) and sixth in total points (307.5). She tallied 303 kills on 851 total attacks while hitting .186, ranking among the league's top 15 in hitting percentage. Her consistency and power at the net made her Ripon's go-to scorer, leading the team in both kills and points while also contributing defensively with 37 digs and seven total blocks.
Harren's breakout performance helped the Red Hawks continue to develop offensively, establishing her as one of the most reliable hitters in the conference.
Monmouth's Kaylee Celus was named the MWC Player of the Year, while Lawrence's Audrey Weier earned Newcomer of the Year honors. Lawrence University, led by head coach Jeff Van Lannen, was recognized as the MWC Coaching Staff of the Year.
