GRINNELL, Iowa – The Ripon swim and dive programs continued their push for the podium on Saturday inside the Russell K. Osgood Pool, sending 12 participants to the night finals session at the Midwest Conference Championships.

Lillian McGuire (100 fly),
Anna Bose (100 fly),
Ben Rahlf (100 fly),
Sky Domingo (200 free),
Natalie Weidner (200 free),
Cooper Herr (200 free),
Kiarra Kahl (100 breast),
Sophie Czerwonka (100 breast) and
Lauren Bahr (100 back) all had standout prelim performances to advance to Saturday night. In addition, both men's and women's 200 medley relays raced Saturday night as well.
Kahl's runner-up 1:09.72 time in the 100 breast "B" finals is now the second-best time in program history, while McCrery's prelim 400 IM time of 5:08.52 is the fourth-best mark in school history.
In the night "B" finals session, Rahlf had a standout performance in the 100 fly, taking second with a time of 52.41. His teammate, Herr, was the third-place finisher in the 200 free after a 1:46.75 performance. Domingo placed third in the 200 free (2:01.58), while Weidner took fourth in the same event (2:03.48).
The women's 200 medley relay team of Bahr, McGuire, Kahl and Weidner finished fifth in 1:53.94.
With one day remaining, the women stand tied for sixth place while the men are eighth.
