OSHKOSH, Wis. -- The Ripon College men's and women's swimming and diving programs were picked 10th in their respective preseason Midwest Conference coaches polls for the 2026-27 season, as announced by the league on Thursday.

Grinnell College was selected to finish first on both the men's and women's sides, receiving eight first-place votes in each poll. On the men's side, Milwaukee School of Engineering was picked second with one first-place vote, followed by Luther College, Lake Forest College and St. Norbert College. On the women's side, Luther was selected second with one first-place vote, followed by Lake Forest, St. Norbert and Milwaukee School of Engineering. 

The Red Hawk women finished eighth out of nine teams at last season's Midwest Conference Championships, while the Ripon men placed ninth in the nine-team field.

Ripon will open the 2026-27 season at home on Saturday, October 17, hosting Beloit College at 1pm. The meet will take place at the newly renovated Kahl Pool, which recently underwent construction that included the addition of new starting blocks and windows to allow natural light into the facility.
