RIPON, Wisconsin – Ben Fisher and Jacoby Cefalu of the Ripon men's track and field program have been awarded invitations to compete at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships in Rochester, New York next weekend, March 14-15.
 
A three-time indoor national qualifier and 2023 indoor All-American in the high jump, Fisher heads to New York sporting a top-10 high jump mark in Division III this season. His jump of 2.07m in the Red Hawk Opener on January 24 not only clinched his spot at NCAAs, but set a new school record in the indoor high jump. On his way to becoming the Midwest Conference Men's Outstanding Field Performer at last weekend's MWC Championships, the senior won the high jump, took second in the long jump and also earned a top-eight finish in the triple jump.
 
Cefalu now stands as a back-to-back 200-meter dash participant at the indoor national championships. His 200-meter dash school record time of 21.83 in the Ripon Alumni Dual Meet on January 18 vaulted him into the top-15 nationally. The senior took second in the 200 at last weekend's MWC Championships.
