RIPON, Wisconsin – Ashlyn Schultz of the Ripon softball program has been named a second team All-Midwest Conference performer (at-large) as announced by the league on Saturday afternoon.
A freshman from Denmark, Wisconsin, Schultz burst onto the scene for Ripon in 2025. She led all qualified Red Hawks in batting average (.339), OPS (.855), at-bats (118), hits (40), doubles (9), triples (2), home runs (1), RBI (26), total bases (56), slugging percentage (.475) and stolen bases (6).
Schultz had the walk-off, three-run homer on April 15 to lift Ripon over Lakeland in non-conference action. She recorded 10 multi-hit games throughout the spring, including a pair of three-hit games and a four-hit game. In five different games, the freshman tallied at least three runs driven in.
