RIPON, Wisconsin – Nadiyah Huizar of the Ripon softball program has been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team as announced by the organization on Tuesday morning.
 
Huizar, a sophomore Exercise Science major from Buena Park, California, was one of just two Red Hawks to start all 38 games in 2025 for first year head coach Emilia Jackson. Huizar hit .297, recording 27 hits, eight doubles, 19 runs scored, 10 RBI and nine walks.
 
Ripon finished the 2025 season 14-24 overall and 7-9 in Midwest Conference play, narrowly missing the MWC Tournament. Ashlyn Schultz was named a second team All-Midwest Conference selection.
