Box Score LAKE BLUFF, Ill. -- In their second consecutive weekend featuring nationally ranked opposition, the Ripon men's tennis team fell 0-7 to the Foresters of Lake Forest. 

The matches opened with a sweep of doubles against the Red Hawks, despite seniors Caleb Sippel (Appleton, Wis., Appleton North HS) and Austin Stevens (Mukwonago, Wis., Mukwonago HS) staying within a break of their opponents. In singles, the two seniors would be the sole Red Hawks to pick up games, with Sippel competing at the top flight and carving out a lead for himself in the first set. However, the Forester's lead singles man would take control after winning the first set by a break, ending the match 6-4 6-0 in favor of the hosts. Stevens, playing at two singles, managed two games in the first set and one in the second, but still fell in straights to the opposition. 

The Red Hawks return to action this Tuesday, April 14, at home against Lawrence University, looking to stay in the hunt for an MWC Tournament berth.
