OSHKOSH, Wis. -- Senior defensive lineman Desean Smith (Lake Park, Ga., Lowndes HS) has been named the Midwest Conference (MWC) Defensive Performer of the Week following his performance in Saturday's win over Knox College.

Smith recorded four tackles against the Prairie Fire, including three tackles for loss and a seven-yard sack. He also recorded a safety, helping the Red Hawks secure the conference victory.
