WAUKESHA, Wis. - Ripon's men's swim team traveled to Carroll University Saturday afternoon, losing to the Pioneers by a final total of 130-65.
The Red Hawks finished with three first-place finishes on the day.
Jack Lutter led the way, winning both the 200 IM (2:08.25) and 100 butterfly (57.36). Lutter was also a part of Ripon's first-place 400 freestyle relay, along with
Andy Paloumpis,
Alec Sutton, and
Nate Pakosz, which finished with a time of 3:24.41.
Paloumpis, Sutton, and Pakosz also each finished with a second-place finish in the individual competition. Paloumpis was second in the 500 freestyle (5:34.53), while Sutton and Pakosz finished second in the 200 freestyle (1:54.37) and 100 freestyle (50.43), respectively.
Ripon will take next weekend off from competition, before taking part in the Wisconsin Private College Championships on January 28 in Kenosha, Wis., which will be hosted by Carthage College.
