RIPON, Wis. - The Ripon College women's swim team hosted a double dual meet on Saturday, which resulted in a pair of victories for the Red Hawks. Ripon defeated North Central College by a score of 134-98, while also defeating fellow Midwest Conference school Beloit College 155-75.

Ripon saw three first-place finishes on the day, as Laryssa Vaclavik won the 1000 freestyle with a time of 12:22.97, Abby Hilker won the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:37.61, and Katherine King won the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:15.33.

Hilker added a second-place finish in both the 100 backstroke (1:07.54) and 200 IM (2:30.84), while Vaclavik was second in the 200 breaststroke (2:55.56). Lateesha Hiser earned a second place finish in three events, doing so in the 200 freestyle (2:07.35), 50 freestyle (26.04), and 100 freestyle (59.10).

The Red Hawks will be in action again next weekend when they'll travel to Appleton, Wis. to take part in the Lawrence Invitational Saturday at 1 p.m.
