Ripon's men's basketball program is proud to announce that
Ty Ketz '16 has been hired as an Assistant Coach, effective immediately.
No stranger to the Red Hawks, Ketz spent four years with Ripon's basketball program, earning Academic All-Conference honors all four years, while also being named to the Dean's List in 2012. He currently holds Ripon's school record for career free throw percentage (.871), while also holding the record for single season free throw percentage (.914 in 2015-16). Ketz finished his career averaging 11 points, 2.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and one steal per game.
Ketz comes back to Ripon after spending the last two years as the Head Girls Basketball Coach at Saint Croix Central High School in Hammond, Wis., where he also served as a ninth grade physical education and wellness teacher.
"We are thrilled to have Ty back with our program," Head Men's Basketball Coach and Athletic Director
Ryan Kane said. "He not only brings tremendous expertise as a student-athlete during his time here as an undergraduate he has gained valuable experience as a coach after graduation. Ty is a great example of the balance it takes to be successful at Ripon College and our current student-athletes will benefit greatly from his mentoring."
