INDIVIDUAL RESULTS
BELOIT, Wis. -Â Ripon's men's swim team defeated every other team at Saturday's Beloit Quad, making them the only team to earn wins over three other teams at the meet. The Red Hawks defeated North Central College 135-44, before defeating Illinois College 121-59 and Beloit College 100-69, respectively.
Freshman
Dominic Yoder led the Red Hawks with a pair of first-place individual finishes, winning the 200 freestyle (1:51.60) and 100 backstroke (54.70). Yoder also swam a leg on Ripon's first-place 200 medley relay, along with
Ethan Brannen,
Zach Olstinske, and
Joe Maddux, which finished with a time of 1:44.02. Brannen also won the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:06.17. Also winning an event for the Red Hawks were
Brigham Freeman in the 1650 freestyle (18:10.41) and
Ben Chambers in the 200 IM (2:08.31), which saw Ripon's
Ben Rahlf and
Joe Maddux take second and third in that event, respectively.
The Red Hawks will have next week off from competition, before hoping to regain their momentum on December 3 for the two-day Grinnell Pioneer Classic, hosted by Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa. Friday's events will begin at 5 p.m.
