KENOSHA, Wis. -Â Competing at the annual Wisconsin Private College Championships over the weekend, Ripon's men's swim team placed second out of five teams with 117 team points.Â
Dominic Yoder highlighted Ripon's day with a first-place finish in the 100 backstroke with a time of 55.17, while also adding a second-place finish in the 50 freestyle (22.60) and a third-place finish in the 100 freestyle (49.14).
Brigham Freeman also had an outstanding day, finishing second in both the 500 freestyle (5:10.77) and 1650 freestyle (18:33.08).
Ben Rahlf added a second-place finish in the 200 butterfly (2:09.33), while adding a third-place finish in the 100 butterfly (55.83). Freeman and Rahlf were also part of Ripon's first-place 200 freestyle relay team, along with
Ben Chambers and
Joe Maddux, which finished with a time of 1:33.19.
The Red Hawks will close out their regular season schedule next weekend when they'll travel to UW-Oshkosh. That meet will begin at 1 p.m. in Oshkosh, Wis.
