Swim and Dive Programs Named CSCAA Scholar All-America Teams

RIPON, Wisconsin – The Ripon College men's and women's swimming and diving programs have been named College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Teams for the 2022-23 spring semester.

"I'm very proud of our student-athletes for receiving this award," head coach Jon Wilson said. "It's impressive that our programs have maintained a 3.0 GPA for seven semesters in a row. This award shows that our program and our athletic department emphasize the student aspect of the college experience in addition to the athletic aspect."

With this honor, Ripon has been named a Scholar All-America team for the seventh consecutive semester. In each of the last seven years, the Red Hawks have been honored by the CSCAA for their work in the classroom.

To be selected as a CSCAA Scholar All-America Team, programs must have achieved a semester grade point average of 3.00 or higher. The Ripon men accumulated a 3.07 team GPA, while the women's team GPA was 3.02.

In total, 715 programs across Division I, Division II, Division III, NAIA and NJCAA were named Scholar All-America Teams. There were 299 Division III programs to receive this award.

Founded in 1922, the CSCAA is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy and professional development.
