Seven Red Hawks Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

RIPON, Wis. -- Seven members of the Ripon College men's and women's soccer programs have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, honoring their excellence both in the classroom and on the field.

To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District recognition, student-athletes must be sophomores or older, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, and compete in at least 90 percent of their team's games or start at least 66 percent of contests during the season.

Men's Soccer Honorees
Ripon's men's program saw two players earn Academic All-District status in sophomore Gabe O'Doherty (La Vista, Neb., Roncalli Catholic HS) and sophomore Ryan Paltzer (Naperville, Ill., Naperville North HS), both key contributors throughout a strong 2025 season in which the Red Hawks finished 10-7-2 overall and 4-3-1 in Midwest Conference play.

  • Gabe O'Doherty, an Exercise Science – Human Performance major, appeared in 18 games and made 15 starts. He scored one goal and totaled six shots, including three on target.
  • Ryan Paltzer, a Biology major, played in 18 games with 17 starts, recording two assists and adding two shots, one of which was on goal.


Women's Soccer Honorees
Five Red Hawks from the women's program earned Academic All-District recognition: sophomore Addison Misner (Richland, Mich., Gull Lake HS), junior Jadyn Johnson (Seymour, Wis., Seymour Community HS), senior Cielo Gutierrez (Oshkosh, Wis., Valley Christian School), sophomore Alex Siudzinski (Green Bay, Wis., Green Bay Southwest HS), and senior Alexis Piette (De Pere, Wis., De Pere HS). The group served as key contributors throughout the 2025 season, helping Ripon finish 4-9-5 overall and 2-3-3 in conference play.

  • Addison Misner, a Political Science major, appeared in all 18 games and made 17 starts. She scored two goals, tallied four assists, and took 23 shots,15 on goal.
  • Jadyn Johnson, a Business major, played in 17 games with eight starts, scoring one goal and adding one assist. She tallied nine shots, including five on target.
  • Cielo Gutierrez, a Spanish major, appeared in all 18 games and made 14 starts. She scored four goals and recorded two assists, with all nine of her shots landing on goal.
  • Alex Siudzinski, an Exercise Science major, started all 18 games and contributed 15 shots, four on target, as a steady presence in the midfield.
  • Alexis Piette, a Chemistry and Biology double major, appeared in all 18 games and made 17 starts, tallying three shots, all on goal, as a key component of Ripon's defensive unit.


These seven honorees exemplify Ripon College's commitment to academic success, competitive excellence, and leadership within its athletic programs.
