RIPON, Wisconsin – For the second season in a row,
Luke Meinholz of the Ripon men's basketball program has been named a first-team All-Midwest Conference performer as announced by the league on Thursday afternoon.
Meinholz, a senior from Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, wrapped up his career in a Ripon uniform as the school's all-time leader in career steals (233) and single-season steals (79 in 2024-25). This season, he started all 25 games and led Ripon in scoring (15.2 points per game) and steals. He was second on the team in minutes per game (32.8) and assists (51) in successfully following up a first-team All-Midwest Conference honor last season.
One of the top defensive players in the country, Meinholz ended the regular season tied for seventh in Division III with 79 steals, and seventh in steals per game (3.16). He was ninth in the Midwest Conference in scoring, second in free throw percentage (79.8%), sixth in field goal percentage (46.0%), 14th in rebounding (5.3 per game) and 16th in assists. Meinholz scored in double figures 21 times and recorded at least two steals in 17 contests.
Ripon finished its season 12-13 overall and 9-7 in Midwest Conference play, missing out on the MWC Tournament by one game.
