ST. PETER, Minn. -- The Ripon College men's tennis team competed at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Midwest Regional over the weekend, sending four Red Hawks to compete in singles and doubles competition.
In singles action, sophomore Emerson Hendricks (Ripon, Wis., Ripon HS), junior Ryan Richter (Plainfield, Ill., Plainfield Central HS), junior Kyle Flook (Sheboygan, Wis., Sheboygan South HS) and freshman Zachary Warde (Long Beach, Calif., Los Alamitos HS) represented Ripon in the individual draws. The Red Hawks competed against players from several programs across the region throughout the tournament.
Ripon also had multiple doubles pairings competing during the weekend. Richter and Hendricks teamed up in doubles competition, while Warde and Flook also partnered together. The Red Hawks faced doubles teams from Coe College.
The ITA Midwest Regional provided the Red Hawks with an opportunity to compete against some of the top individual players and doubles teams from across the region as Ripon wrapped up its fall competition schedule.
Ripon will return to action in January to begin its spring season.
